I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in the State of Colorado with over 12 years successfully working with addictions and a variety of complex mental health issues.

I am an EMDR Certified Therapist credentialed with the EMDR International Institute (EMDRIA) since 2022.

Through my clinical addiction experience, I realized many clients struggle building a strong, sustainable recovery often due to unresolved traumatic experiences. Instead of merely treating the symptoms of addiction like everyone else, I seek to heal the heart of the issue… trauma.

In 2011, I took my first step into Naropa University’s Graduate School of Counseling Psychology: Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling, oblivious to the path I chose and how it was going to forever change my life.

A foundational principle in Naropa's mission for training their graduate counseling students is summed up best as a simple question: "How will I show up today”? and “How can I help”?

My greatest passion outside of psychotherapy is anything that helps me learn and grow, and connecting to nature.

When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending my time hiking and backpacking in the mountains, reading a good book, practicing meditation, continue my studies in philosophy and psychology, podcasting, and spending quality time with friends and family.
