Group EMDR Consultation
(Basic & Advanced EMDR Case Consultation & Education)
Group EMDR Consultation (Basic & Advanced) is a two (2) hours (120 minutes) collaborative space for mixed clinical skill levels of EMDR practitioners to deepen their understanding and proficiency with both foundational and advanced EMDR skills.
This consultation group includes guidance on the efficacious use of the Standard EMDR Protocol, addressing complex trauma presentations, and managing dissociative symptoms.
Participants will gain insights into adapting techniques for complex cases, enhancing stabilization methods, and using EMDR effectively across a spectrum of client needs.
This group setting allows for shared learning and support, helping clinicians expand their skills and confidence with diverse EMDR applications.
CASE PRESENTATION & CONSULTATION (APPROX. 60 MINUTES)
The first one (1) hour dedicated to a supportive and collaborative environment where clinicians can present clinical cases, discuss challenges, and enhance their therapeutic approaches through shared learning.
This space will allow 1-2 participants about 20-30 minutes to present a case they wish to receive constructive feedback from other group members, fostering a rich exchange of perspectives that enhances problem-solving and clinical insight.
Emphasis is placed on supportive dialogue, allowing clinicians to explore complex cases, reflect on clinical challenges, and develop new strategies. Through this group process, members benefit from the collective wisdom of their peers, strengthening their skills and confidence in clinical practice.
